We are delighted to confirm that the Local Authority Cabinet met yesterday to discuss the next steps for a new build here at St Richard Gwyn.
Approval and funds were given for the next steps of planning process over the coming months to proceed. Although there is a long way to go, this is a great sign of the support to progress our new build by the Vale. We are grateful for all the hard work that has gone on by the education and 21st century schools departments to get us to this step.
Let’s hope the coming months are positive and that with the continued excellent support of the Local Authority, Governors and all of the community, we will continue to move forward with cautious optimism in the coming months towards the school building that is needed and deserved for all of our St Richard Gwyn pupils.
We will continue to keep you informed as and when we receive further information and will involve our community in each stage of the process where possible.
In the meantime, thank you for all your support and keep the process in your prayers as things progress!
