Teaching Assistant – One year fixed term initially

Term time – 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum

You would be joining our community at a very exciting time as you will have a significant role in helping us to give our students an ‘excellent’ educational experience. The successful candidate will have the relevant skills and experience to support students to overcome challenges that can be barriers to success.

Our recent examination results have given us a good platform to build on. As a colleague and member of the Additional Learning Needs team, you will have an exciting opportunity to develop your own professional practice and contribute to an experienced, successful and forward thinking area of the school. However, in order to achieve our aim we also recognise that we will not stop until all of our students achieve successes that compare to their potential. This post also gives the successful candidate the opportunity to broaden their skills and an opportunity to work closely with excellent leaders across the school.

If you feel that you too will exhaust every avenue to give our students the best start in life and you are able to meet and surpass the challenges this role has to offer, then we would love to hear from you.

Closing Date: Monday 6th November – Midday
Shortlisting: Monday 6th November
Interviews: Week beginning 6th November 2023
Start Date: As soon as possible

Exams are timetabled throughout the day but the majority are part-day. Invigilators must be alert and able to deal with a variety of situations. No prior experience is required as full training will be given. The post of examination invigilator is casual and attracts pay of £10.90 per hour.
